Next month sees Bernice Summerfield's twentieth anniversary kick off in style with the release of a brand-new novel and box set: Legion and The Slender-Fingered Cats of Bubastis. Legion has been written by Tony Lee, Scott Handcock and - making his Big Finish writing debut - actor Miles Richardson (aka Irving Braxiatel). Guest stars include Kai Owen (Torchwood), Andrew Hayden-Smith (Doctor Who, Byker Grove), Alexander Vlahos (Merlin, Big Finish's new series The Confessions of Dorian Gray) and Richard Franklin (Doctor Who's Captain Mike Yates).
Accompanying the series is Xanna Eve Chown's new novel The Slender-Fingered Cats of Bubastis, where Bernice, Ruth and Jack unwittingly learn the secret behind the infamous monolithic cats that dominate the swamp world of the title.
The trailer for Legion is now available to listen to. Bernice's birthday celebrations are set to continue in the release of Doctor Who: Love and War - an audio adaptation of her very first adventure - in October, followed by a very special charity release, Many Happy Returns, in November.
