As the TARDIS crew are forced to choose between two competing realities, we ask why the show doesn't do more of these "format breaker" episodes. Plus, we assess the emotional see-saw that is Amy's love life, the dark side of the Doctor and re-examine the start of a phenomenon - Rory kicking the bucket.

PurpleBlancmange has On the back burner: Cybermen costume parts. A little over a decade ago, I decided to start stripping down the standard trooper head with the intention of restoring it as it was looking its age, plus it’d been knocked about a little before it came into my possession. I’d already ripped out the foam liner from it in the 1990s, but this time round, I was going to go the whole hog and make this thing really smart by filling the cracks and chips taken out of it through usage, respray it and generally buff it up to make it look like it was ready for its first day of shooting....
Geeks of Doom has Geek Gear: Doctor Who ‘Blue Box Bar’ Shirt. The $10 t-shirt deal of the day over at RIPT Apparel today is the Doctor Who-themed shirt called "Blue Box Bar" by Dreweyes.

Review's Roundup...
Tea with Morbius has World Game, by Terrance Dicks (BBC Novel). Dicks' prose is as simple as ever, but it reads very easily and makes for a light and entertaining read. Yet at the same time, there is a massive amount of historical information squeezed in. Anybody reading this novel is going to learn a lot about the Napoleonic Wars. Dicks has always taken the educational aspect of Doctor Who seriously in his novels. I remember when I was eleven years old, how Timewyrm Exodus inspired me to read lots of books about the Third Reich....

Siskoid's Blog of Geekery has Doctor Who 200: Fury from the Deep Part 1. Aside from a brief clip of the TARDIS landing in the sea, this episode, like the rest of the story, is missing from the archives. A reconstruction was available. First aired Mar.16 1968....
independent.co.uk has Review of Doctor Who ‘Inferno’ (Series 7). The era of the third Doctor began in 1970 with the serial Spearhead from Space and also marked the start of his imposed exile on earth. The last time the audience saw Patrick Troughton’s second Doctor was in The War Games where he was banished to earth and forced to regenerate by the Time Lords as punishment for stealing the Tardis. The last part of The War Games was the last episode to be filmed in black-and-white before the show moved into colour....
The Daily P.O.P. has Doctor Who and The Blue Tooth. An educated scientist, Liz Shaw is having a bit of a professional and personal crisis. Her life has been turned upside down after getting dragged into service of U.N.I.T., a kind of James Bond outfit crossed with UFO enthusiasts. What’s worse is that she has been saddled with a flamboyant stranger who claims to have traveled in time and space and dresses like a stage magician....
Time and The—! has The Sensorites: A Desperate Venture. Unaware of the new Second Elder’s betrayal, the Doctor asks the First Elder not to tell Susan that he and Ian have gone back to the aqueduct until they’re well on their way. Back in the lab, Susan, Carol, and John are waiting for the others so they can eat. Carol decides to go look for them. As she’s crossing the courtyard, an unseen Sensorite accosts her…
