November and December 2012 sees the release of two special Sixth Doctor stories. And for these adventures only he has two very familiar companions in the form of Henry Gordon Jago (Christopher Benjamin) and Professor Litefoot (Trevor Baxter).
Stepping temporarily out of their hugely popular spin-off series Jago and Litefoot, the Investigators of Infernal Incidents will journey in the TARDIS into the distant future and into the past.
Doctor Who: Voyage to Venus (November) takes the Doctor, Jago and Litefoot to the planet Venus, now an exotic jungle world ruled by the dangerous Grand Empress Vulpina. As Jago becomes Vulpina’s pet, the Doctor and Litefoot must evade the travelers evade her assassination squad and the rampaging Shanghorns. The story is written by Jonathan Morris and guest stars Juliet Aubrey (Primeval) and Hugh Ross (Counter-Measures).
In Doctor Who: Voyage to the New World the TARDIS lands on Roanoke Island in the year 1590, where the colonists are haunted by ghostly children. Who is the old man of Roanoke? The answer may cost Jago’s life… The story is written by Matthew Sweet and guest stars Ramon Tikaram (EastEnders, This Life) and Philip Pope (The Fast Show, KYTV).
