Vibrant Oxymoron has Classic Cybermen - An Astonishing Evolution (By Episode). "I must admit, I was initially introduced to the Cybus Cybermen originating from the alternate universe in the new Doctor Who episodes. It wasn't long before I was thinking about them all the time - replaying the episodes in my mind. Replaying the screams and mechanical sounds of the "upgrading" or "cyber-conversion". They were intriguing - they were intimidating...."

Shadowlocked has The Doctor Who Column: The Doc's greatest foes - soaps and talent shows. Hold on. There's something missing. Normally, at this time of year there's some TV programme that's supposed to be heading back to the small screen. Oh, that's right – Doctor Who. Alas, for Who fans, the wait's a bit longer, with rumours of six episodes surfacing in Autumn or Winter. But hey, never mind, you can console yourself with the much-touted weapon in the BBC's ratings armoury called The Voice. In which Lord Thomas of Jones and co attempt to find the country's best singing voice, a quest that hasn't been heard of since last December when Little Mix squealed and sobbed the water out of their bodies in The X Factor....

  • Doctor Who News page - Rediscovered episodes to be screened in Cardiff
    BAFTA Wales are to present a special event featuring the screening of the two recently rediscovered episodes, Galaxy 4: Air Lock and The Underwater Menace: Episode Two. The event will also feature a Q&A with stars Peter Purves, Anneke Wills and Frazer Hines, plus a guest from the current production. The event is to take place at Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff on 9th May 2012, booking to open shortly.
  • The Press Association - Tennant to star in TV spy drama
    David Tennant will play a French spy in a new two-part Second World War-era drama by Likely Lads writers Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais. The former Doctor Who star will appear with Merlin actress Janet Montgomery in the BBC Four show The Spies Of Warsaw based on the best-selling novel by Alan Furst. David's character is drawn into the murky world of espionage in the story which is set in Poland, Paris, London and Berlin in the years leading up to the outbreak of war....

James and Leeson chat about their experiences at the convention, whilst Ian was lucky enough to secure one of the passes to go and visit the TARDIS set.  Ian recalls this once in a lifetime experience.
