1906 - San Francisco was ravaged by an earthquake; Azathoth and her rakshassi army, were diverted to San Francisco by the Seventh Doctor and were consumed in the fire (NA: All-Consuming Fire).

1928 - David Whitaker born, helped create Doctor Who and served as the series' first script editor, beginning with An Unearthly Child and ending with The Dalek Invasion of Earth.
1929 - Peter Jeffrey born, played the Pilot in the Doctor Who serial The Macra Terror and Count Grendel in The Androids of Tara. He was also considered for the role of the Second Doctor.
1930 - Angus Lennie born, he appeared in two Doctor Who stories: as Storr in The Ice Warriors and Angus MacRanald in Terror of the Zygons.
1935 - Harold Innocent born, played Gilbert M in the Doctor Who story The Happiness Patrol and voiced Freeth in the BBC Radio drama, The Paradise of Death.
1956 - Eric Roberts born, played the Master and Bruce in the 1996 Doctor Who TV movie.
1964 - "The Velvet Web", Episode 2 of DW: The Keys of Marinus was first broadcast.
1970 - DW: The Ambassadors of Death, Episode 5 was first broadcast.
1971 - David Tennant was born.
1984 - Francis De Wolff died. appeared in two Doctor Who stories: as Vasor in The Keys of Marinus and Agamemnon in The Myth Makers.
1992 - James Bate died, played Amyand in Planet of Fire.
1993 - Alan Wells died, played a Scientist in the Doctor Who story The Moonbase.
2010 - DW: Victory of the Daleks was first broadcast.
