Doctor Who: Remote Control Dalek Drone (13 Inch Version)

Forbidden Planet
Many years ago, the Daleks sent out thousands of egg-shaped Progenitors containing the genetic coding of the race, so that new Daleks could be created whenever necessary. One of these Progenitors was found in war-torn England during the Second World War and transported to a Dalek ship.

However, because the Daleks that found it had been genetically modified by their creator Davros, using his own DNA, the Progenitor did not acknowledge them as pure Daleks, until the Doctor identified them as such and the Progenitor created a new race of powerful Daleks as a result. These Daleks were led by the white-cased Supreme, the red-coloured Drones, the enigmatically titled yellow cased Eternal, blue cased Strategists and orange Scientists.

This fully functional radio controlled 13” Dalek Drone includes a handset with ‘Dual Stick’ movement control, 10 Dalek phrases and exterminator gun sound effect, activated using the five button sound selector. Also includes an illuminated eye, poseable gun and arm.

Dalek requires 4 x AA included.
Controller requires 1 x 9V not included.

Due for release from Forbidden Planet on the 4th August.

Den Of Geek has Doctor Who: in support of Matt Smith, no, he’s not David Tennant, but that’s rightly how the show works. He’s an entirely different take on the same character, and has done quite outstanding work for my money. I distinctly remember too that David Tennant has his fair share of detractors in his first series run, and many of those were won over. Those expecting a Tennant photocopy in the casting of the 11th Doctor? I'm glad they've been disappointed.

SFX also has Johnny Depp Versus The Daleks – UPDATED, we can categorically put this one to bed now, having spoken to Russell T Davies himself.
