It's hard to believe that it was less than a year ago, when fandom was getting it's first look at the Eleventh Doctor's costume. People were saying that Matt Smith was too young, too "emo" to be the Doctor. Set report pictures were sparking outbursts of both joy and apprehension. I find it interesting that, in emotional times for fans, these set report pictures take on a sort of mystical importance. It seems to capture a moment when our heroes were still strangers.
