David Tennant in Hamlet for the RSC

The London transfer of Celebrity Autobiography at the Leicester Square Theatre is certainly off to a roaring start with the announcement that David Tennant will guest star on stage tomorrow and Thursday this week (6 and 7 October 2010).

The appearance, which will be the former Doctor Who star's first West End outing since Hamlet for the Royal Shakespeare Company at the Novello Theatre in December 2008, will see Tennant join a comedic ensemble led by Ugly Betty's Michael Urie reading and act out embarrassing, banal and hilarious revelations from real celebrity autobiographies.

Celebrity Autobiography runs every night from 4 to 9 October 2010, after which it will continue at Leicester Square, running every second Monday only until 10 January 2011.
