The Vervoid has At Home With The Warlords -  Episode Five - Lost and Adventures into Space, the exploits of Captain "Butch" Maitland and co Chapter Five.

Radio Free Skaro have released 157 - Byrne, Baby, Byrne, "the classic series commentary makes a not-so-triumphant return to the Radio Free Skaro fold as we merge the Miniscope with the old time-filling standby. With Johnny Byrne as our subject we plod through the week's weak news with discussion of lowlights such as Warriors of the Deep and our commentary of the first half of Arc of Infinity. There should have been another way, indeed!" (ed: added to the pods and audio button on the editor's bit).

Doctor Who: Time Tales has Doctor Who: 03.05 The Dreamers, Part 1, the Doctor doesn't want to be here. Emma doesn't want to be here. They don't want to be with each other. But where is everyone else? (ed: added to the pods and audio button on the editor's bit).

Two-minute Time Lord has 2MTL 60 – TIME DILATION: Toby Hadoke Interview, "at last, here's the full version of my interview with Toby Hadoke about the future of "Moths Ate My Doctor Who Scarf" and the use of Doctor Who as a child-rearing tool. Rich's ComixBlog has Forever Janette - 32, the imposter DuVallee tries to console Janette in the Master’s absence, telling her that soon they are to be made Lord and Lady of the land forever. The Doctor Who Blog has The Colour of Evil, "one of the worst kept secrets in Doctor Who Fandom right now is that most of The Mind of Evil has been successfully restored to colour using the chroma-dots process..."

Crafty Tardis has Molto Bene!, "awright...if you have dialup, turn back now!!!"

Velvet Jacket has Remembrance of the Daleks, "thanks to reader James Lyons, I was unexpectedly able to finish my Remembrance of the Daleks re-release cover this weekend after all."

Billie Doux has a review of Torchwood: Adam, "Adam was a little reminiscent of Dawn in Buffy -- like he was always there, when he hadn't been. He seemed to be an emotional vampire, sucking these weird emotions out of everyone. No one was themselves."

Doctor Who Methadone 2008-2010
has The Happiness Patrol, ...continues the move into uncharted territory that the Sylvester McCoy era had shown signs of taking. If you can accept the premise- a society that has made sadness illegal- there is much to enjoy in Graeme Curry's scripts.

Doctor Who Reviews has The Ambassadors of Death, the seven-parter is an interesting creature. For all my complaints about the padding in some six-parters, I've never noticed any in their longer cousins.

AdamJPurcell "Staggering Stories' Jean videoed some of Whooverville podcast panel. 1st small segment on YouTube (mainly featuring me!)"

davidtennantcom "Download David Tennant on The Christian O'Connell Solution"

Madeline_Starr "Why doesn't the Doctor use the snap feature on the TARDIS? Like if I could close a door by snapping I'd be using the heck out the power."

TARDIS Scanner
has the latest UK TV and Radio Guide for next week, look out for Doctor Who - Blood of the Daleks starting on BBC Radio 7 on Monday 14th September 2009 at 6pm, old foes and new allies appear as the maverick renegade Time Lord arrives on a benighted, desperate world.

Doctor Who:Victimsight, a fan made, 38 minutes long video.

TARDIS Scanner - Who Tube has Dalek 'Sound of Music'.

The Ultimate Doctor Who Site
has K.9 - New Poster & Details, new info has come to light as well as a new poster for the new upcoming Doctor Who spin-off, K.9!

Doctor Who Reviews has Doctor Who and the Silurians, as Terrance Dicks is so fond of saying, this story was borne out of a desire to avoid the usual invasion of Earth or mad scientist scenario (did they ever do a straightforward mad scientist story? Robot might be the closest).

Cadmium 2 has Listen Again, "as you all know we have a ridiculous amount of programmes to cover and only one lifetime in which to achieve it. As a consequence we haven’t been spending anywhere near as much time on Big Finish as any of us would like. So…"

planetzogblog has Doctor Who C5.1: The Tomb of the Cybermen review, the first episode is a classic “the group is split up” scenario, but intriguing as the group is split across three adjacent rooms (in a contrast to the wide open spaces of the planet), with a slightly bizarre cliffhanger where it’s not clear what actually happened (until the next episode.)

Billie Doux has Torchwood: Meat, "I really wish that whoever approved this script had gone home, downed a few, and had second thoughts."

TachyonTV "Breaking News: Following the death of Keith Waterhouse, Matthew Waterhouse is now the most famous Waterhouse on the planet. Official!"

fleming77
"For those who have just taken their TARDIS driving test, the memorial in Wisbech"

Colin Bakers Fight for the BBC and Fire and Ice or Wet and Soggy? plus a Pick of the Blogs

Still working hard in my 'Second Life' world, if you haven't dropped into the 'Pirate Inn' yet then please do, I'm trying to create a friendly environment for all Doctor Who fans to go and have fun (coming soon a video tour from my TARDIS to a great location).

A big thanks to all of you who have asked me to keep this site open, I've found your comments and posts touching, so for the time being were still here, however I really will be reviewing whether to continue in the new year, I will have to evaluate my time and effort versus satisfaction in continuing with what has become an unpaid job, in fact it's costing me a small fortune lol.

BBC iPlayer (UK only) has The Sarah Jane Adventures - Series 2 - The Day of the Clown - Part 1 and Part 2, is there a connection between a sinister clown and missing children?

Colin Baker Online
has Fight for the BBC, a message from Colin " I've just signed a petition to stand up for the BBC. The papers have been full of Sky Chief Exec James Murdoch's comments, where he labels the BBC 'Orwellian' state-sponsored news....."

Doctor Who 2009 has Fire and Ice (Episode 1) is now available for download via torrent technology! (ed :shame they put it on bit torrent, I for one wont be watching it because of that, it would have been much better on youtube as a playlist, ah well).

Gallifreyan Embassy has This Week In Doctor Who - September 5, 2009, by Benjamin Elliott.

Bridging the Rift have released 6: The World of Fan Fiction, "we’re joined by Spider aka Spiderine on LiveJournal to discuss the different types Doctor Who Universe fan fiction and where to find them, and the legal position of transformative works." (ed: added to the pods and audio button on the editor's bit).

Tennantcast
have released 16 – David Dances, in the news segment, we toy with the idea of a “Doctor Who WORST Moments/Companions/Monster” special, and finally the girls pinpoint a photoshoot they don’t like (and that’s saying a lot for fangirl standards).

Rich's ComixBlog
has Forever Janette - 31, Nyssa tells the Doctor that she believes she’s seen a vampire. The Doctor explains about the legends and myths of vampires throughout the universe. Then they spot LaCroix going to see Nicholas.

The Ultimate Doctor Who Site has Doctor Who Adventures - Issue 131, the cover and info on this week's edition of Doctor Who Adventures.

Tardis And Torchwood Treasures
wishes a Happy Birthday Kai Owen, Kai plays the role of Rhys Williams, Gwen's husband, in Torchwood.

Doctor Who Reviews
has Spearhead from Space, ask anyone what Doctor Who is about and probably one of the first things they will mention is the travelling about in space and time.

Blogging The Classics has...
  • Doctor Who #22: Bloodtide (2001), after a prologue in which a Silurian scientist is banished to earth with his ‘creations’, The Doctor and Evelyn arrive on an island; a deliberate trip so Evelyn came meet on of heroes: Charles Darwin. They are on the Galapagos, and wouldn’t you know it, this is exactly where the Silurian scientist was banished and he and his companion have awoken, and are ready to wipe the foolish apes off the planet…
  • Doctor Who #23: Project: Twilight (2001), the Doctor and Evelyn arrive in modern day London – on the radio we hear snatches of information that set the scene, Tony Blair etc – and The Doctor has bought Evelyn to South London to buy take-away.
  • Doctor Who #24: The Eye of the Scorpion (2001), the Doctor and Peri arrive in ancient Egypt where they save the life of a young woman, Erimem, otherwise known as Erimemushinteperem.
Radio Free Skaro - The Chronic Hysteresis has...
  • MMM1 - The Curse of Peladon 1, Jon Pertwee's Doctor finds himself smack dab in the middle of probably the oddest Jon Pertwee story ever made. The Curse of Peladon (like its sequel two years later) features no location filming, is predominantly set in dark, torchlit corridors, and is easily the most dialogue heavy story in the Pertwee era.
  • MMM2 - The Curse of Peladon 2, not only is this story unusual for a Jon Pertwee story, it's also a remarkably claustrophobic one.
  • MMM3 - The Curse of Peladon 3, now we get into some standard Third Doctor fare as Jon Pertwee gets to tangle with the king's champion, Grun, in an epic-length fight scene that is sorely crying out to be scored by the fight music from Star Trek. Pertwee also gets to show off his singing voice again as he reprises his Venusian lullaby in an attempt to subdue Aggedor.
  • MMM4 - The Curse of Peladon 4, David Troughton, who was only in his early 20s during the making of The Curse of Peladon, does a fine job, I think, of portraying a young king, forced to the throne before he was ready, and surrounded by men twice as old as him who are more keen to uphold tradition than aid their king.
Billie Doux has Torchwood: To the Last Man, as good as this one was, and it was very good, I kept thinking that the basic structure was the same as the previous episode.

Doctor Who Methadone 2008-2010 has Remembrance of the Daleks, for the first time in what seemed like ages, everyone was talking about last night’s Doctor Who in school, not just the few of us who still watched religiously (although this was, sadly, not reflected by the viewing habits of the British public in general).

Please note that links in this section of the Newsroom can seriously damage your enjoyment of forthcoming episodes and unless you really are a spoiler chaser I do not recommend clicking these links.

Gallifreyan Embassy

Planet of the Daleks

TARDIS Scanner - Who Tube has Terrance and Bidmead - Episode One, script Editor of Doctor Who, Terrance Dicks is stuck in his office, stuffing his face with every food consumerable imaginable until his fellow writer, Chris Bidmead attempts to get Terrance's backside into gear and kick-start the new series for the BBC.

BBC iPlayer
(UK only) has The Sarah Jane Adventures - Series 2:The Last Sontaran - Part 1 and Part 2, Sarah Jane investigates alien lights and encounters an enemy from the past.

The Five of Diamonds
has reviewed The Story Of Martha.

Caption Who
has "Gridlock" (starting on page 847) and get's started on the last Peladon story, "The Monster Of Peladon."

BBC Doctor Who
has Doctor Who's Greatest Moments - The Enemies, watch Doctor Who's Greatest Moments - The Enemies on iPlayer.

The Doctor Who News Page
has Greatest Moments - Ratings - The Enemies, according to unofficial overnight figures, the final installment of Doctor Who’s Greatest Moments, was watched by 340,000 viewers. The programme share was 1.7% and it was the fourteenth most watched programme of the day on multi-channel television.

Behind the Sofa has And May My Bones Rot for Buying It!, "oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.  The Twin Dilemma.  If you look up bathos in the dictionary, it's defined as follows: "An abrupt change in style, usually from high to low, e.g. The Caves of Androzani followed by The Twin Dilemma", and there can be little doubt that it is the most bathetic adventure in the history of Doctor Who."

Doctor Who Reviews has The War Games, "my first marathon virgin viewing, and a story I tried to avoid learning details about until now - obviously there's only so much I can do with regards to the conclusion, being a turning point in the direction of the series and a frequent point of reference on the documentaries on the DVDs, but this is one case where knowing how it ends is okay, because it's as much a conclusion to the six years of the show so far as a finale to the story itself."

Radio Free Skaro - The Chronic Hysteresis has KKK4 - Day of the Daleks 4, "there is something blissful about spending 92% of one's free time growing up watching Doctor Who (that percentage has probably been even higher for me during this Chronic Hysteresis journey) in that if Doctor Who was ever ripping anything off, then I wouldn't have known about it unless that which was ripped off happened to be encompassed in the remaining 8% of free time that was allotted to me when not watching Doctor Who."

The Tardis Project has "Guests of Madame Guillotine", the Doctor collapses to the floor, overcome by smoke in the abandoned farmhouse. Meanwhile, the soldiers have taken Ian, Barbara and Susan to Paris where they are taken before a judge and sentenced to death by guillotine.

The Doctor Who Audio Dramas has The Eyes of All - Part 1 online, probe 847385 is malfunctioning. The images it is sending back are jumbled. It is no longer responding to commands. Now, two technicians must attempt to retrieve and deactive the probe before it is discovered.

The Daily Drew has "The Web of Fear" - Episode 2, Jamie and Victoria, still held by the Army at the Goodge Street fortress, worry that the Doctor may have been killed in the explosion. But the explosion never happened.

Billie Doux
has Torchwood: Sleeper, what they did particularly well in this episode was jerk us back and forth. When I first saw it, I really did think Torchwood had gotten the wrong person, and it was upsetting to watch them put sweet little Beth through so much pain.

daleksinmanhattan.com has IDW Publishing’s Doctor Who #3: Fugitive Preview, IDW Publishing has released a seven-page preview of the issue which went on sale yesterday. Following the shocking end of “Silver Scream,” the Doctor now finds himself on trial for his life by the Shadow Proclamation!

The Ten Doctors Video with Twin Dilemma and The Smugglers Podcasts plus Dominion Eternal Audio

Doctor Who Reference Guide has the synopsis for the 4th Doctor TV Comic Strip Death Flower.

Dreamwatch - Total Sci Fi has Doctor Who: The Ambassadors of Death, Caroline John provides the narration to this soundtrack of the TV story.

TARDIS Scanner - Who Tube has Doctor Who: The Ten Doctors PART 1 - by Babelcolour, The Doctor is being erased from time. The President of Gallifrey summons them to join forces to save their own past and the Universe's future, but to do so means revisiting a pivotal moment in their own personal history.

Tin Dog Podcast
has released TDP 099: Twin Dilemma, after his regeneration from their previous adventure, the Doctor starts behaving erratically. He goes to the wardrobe and looking for a new outfit and finds a glaring, mismatched, brightly coloured coat to which he immediately takes a shine. Peri tells him that he could not go outside wearing such an awful garb, to which the Doctor takes offence (ed: added to the pods and audio button on the editor's bit).

Cadmium 2 has Show 57: Doctor Who – The Smugglers, season 4 has arrived! And we kick off with a bit of  treasure hunting (ed: added to the pods and audio button on the editor's bit).

Two-minute Time Lord
has 2MTL 59: Bringing Back More Old Companions, there's enough separation between the 1.0 and 2.0 versions of Doctor Who to make a classic series companion's return a risky venture. For a mass audience, the "companion's return" story has simply been done, already. And even for a hardcore fan audience, nostalgia can only carry you so far. But under certain circumstances, it just might work…. (ed: added to the pods and audio button on the editor's bit).

Brokensea
have released Doctor Who: Dominion Eternal (B2E9), as the strands of Time weave themselves back together, a new pattern forms, bringing the Doctor face to face with one of his oldest enemies and a long lost friend (ed: added to the pods and audio button on the editor's bit).

The Ultimate Doctor Who Site has Code of the Krillitanes Quick Read - Cover & Info.

Doctor Who Methadone 2008-2010 has Dragonfire, again, the basic premise displays a degree of vagueness- Kane is imprisoned with the key to his salvation in (what looks like) easy reach and takes 3000 years to find it, never knowing that his planet has been destroyed in a supernova- despite the fact that he has constructed the interstellar version of an airport terminal on his planet of imprisonment.

Billie Doux
has Torchwood: End of Days, with a name like "End of Days," you know you're in for a good time and Torchwood: Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, "I loved every moment of this episode. And not just because I'm a big fan of the talented James Marsters."

The Daily Drew
has "The Enemy of the World" - Episode 6, as Swann dies, Astrid follows the tunnel and discovers the underground complex and "The Web of Fear" - Episode 1, Jamie manages to close the TARDIS doors before anyone follows Salamander into the void outside. But soon enough the TARDIS becomes stuck in space and covered by a strange web.

Rich's ComixBlog has Forever Janette - 30, the imposter DuValee watches in horror as the Master, armed with a crucifix and having sprayed her with a garlic solution, has his men manhandle Janette onto a board. His goal, to experiment on her and try to learn how he can both achieve immortality (without the vampiric weaknesses, hopefully) and rid himself of the cat-world life force that still threatens to take him over.

Big Finish Audio Lovers has Companion Chronicle announcement, Big Finish announced in their latest issue of Vortex, that March's Companion Chronicle will be a story told by Caroline John reprising her role as Liz Shaw. The story is called Shadow of the Past and is written by Simon Guerrier.

Radio Free Skaro - The Chronic Hysteresis has....
  • JJJ2 - The Daemons 2, I've often seen in reviews for this story that there is no reason for Sergeant Benton and Captain Yates to be wearing their street clothes in this story, especially given that they were wearing their UNIT uniforms before they left for Wiltshire, and that the whole exercise was a blatant excuse for Barry Letts to show a more human side to our friends at UNIT.
  • JJJ3 - The Daemons 3, the Daemons is often cited by critics and fans alike as the high point of the "UNIT family" era, but it really only serves as the first major example of the devaluing of the Brigadier as a character. The element of the Brigadier being out of the loop in this story (figuratively and, and as seen in this episode, literally) is played up for dramatic and comedic effect.
  • JJJ4 - The Daemons 4, kudos to Roger Delgado as The Master. By this point in Season 8, even producer Barry Letts and script editor Terrance Dicks had accepted the fact that the character of The Master had been overused by having him be the main villain in every story during the 1971 season. That doesn't make Delgado any less watchable, of course.
  • JJJ5 - The Daemons 5, when watching The Daemons, it's quite clear that everyone had a wonderful time making it. You can almost feel the good vibrations coming through the TV screen from the cast and crew, and the village where this story was predominantly shot.
  • KKK1 - Day of the Daleks 1, in Episode One of Day of the Daleks, Jon Pertwee and/or The Doctor himself have never, ever appeared as cool in the history of Doctor Who or, in fact, that of the universe itself.
  • KKK2 - Day of the Daleks 2, very rarely in Doctor Who up until now has The Doctor been seen to even hold a gun, let alone fire it.
  • KKK3 - Day of the Daleks 3, Aubrey Woods plays a superb Controller in this story - smooth and smarmy when he has to be (like convincing Jo, successfully, I might add, that the rebels are her enemy and not him), and cold, calculating, and stern when dealing with Ogrons and other subordinates.
Doctor Who Reviews has The Space Pirates, the audio for this one was particularly bad, with most characters sounding like they were speaking with their mouths closed, in fact at times I barely recognised the Doctor's voice.

Angry Who Fan
has Wham, Bam thank you, Tamm, in an outstanding move by Tamm (and her agent) Mary has been able to get a plum role in Eastenders just as her biography is going to launch.

Please note that links in this section of the Newsroom can seriously damage your enjoyment of forthcoming episodes and unless you really are a spoiler chaser I do not recommend clicking these links.

Issue 7 of Vortex Magazine Out Now and a New Sonic Newsdriver plus a Pick of the Blogs...

Big Finish

Doctor Who Reference Guide has added the synopsis for the BBC book The Slitheen Excursion.

The Doctor Who Project
has Season 36 coming September 12, and so begins another adventure for our favorite Time Lord as he becomes embroiled in a new season of adventures in time and space.....

Doctor Who Online
has Competitions, this months Competition added and last months winners announced.

Unreality SF
have reviews of Doctor Who: Terror Firma and Professor Bernice Summerfield: Birthright.

Gallifreyan Embassy have released The Sonic Newsdriver 20090902, in this episode: Tabloid Tennant, Last of the TARDISes, Sarah Jane Adventures Series 2 on DVD, Dreamland, John Barrowman Made It Through Again, Catch Doctor Who: Podshock 160, and Get Your Sonic Gear, plus more! (ed: added to the pods and audio button on the editor's bit).

Fanatical For Who has The Doctor's Age, in 1963, it was never made clear on screen exactly how old the Doctor was. But it has been revealed that in production notes he was to be 650 yrs old when we first see him.

Radio Free Skaro has Blogs for SPACE, SPACE (www.spacecast.com), the home of Doctor Who and Torchwood in Canada, announced today that Radio Free Skaro will be blogging for the nation’s sci-fi channel, by way of our own Warren Frey! Warren will naturally be blogging about all things Doctor Who leading up to the Canadian premiere of the last three David Tennant gap year specials on SPACE, as well as the upcoming series featuring Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor in Spring 2010.

Radio Free Skaro - The Chronic Hysteresis
has JJJ1 - The Daemons 1, the best thing about this episode is easily Professor Horner, a complete hoot of a character who doesn't have the time of day of day for anyone, least of all TV reporter Alastair Fergus, who has the unenviable task of having to interview the Professor about the dig up at Devil's End.

Planet Skaro has 30 Years of a Fan, "today marks the 30th anniversary of when I first saw Doctor Who. Over the next few weeks I'd like to commemorate this with a look back over each year of my life with doctor Who- share some memories with you and hopefully inspire you all to join me on my journey from 1979 to the present day."

Doctor Who Reviews has The Seeds of Death, probably the closest we've got to an "ordinary" Troughton story that survives in its entirety. It's a six-part base-under-siege story with a returning monster (The Tomb of the Cybermen might also qualify but it's a four-parter and not set on or near Earth).

Aareiyah
"I dont know how to feel about this! I am a part of the "Give Matt Smith a Chance Club" but siriously ... a bow tie?"

dannydavies23
"Glad the Matt Smith clip is down. Seemed that people had started damning his entire tenure without even seeing an episode."

UTJenHawk09
"I've never been scared of clowns but the episode of Sarah Jane Adventures I just watched COMPLETELY creeped me out. Gonna have nightmares =/"

vagusvenus
"In Canberra Times - wanted Dalek frame in good condition for ulterior motive, $3. Watch out Canberra Time Lords!"

JJPPWorld
"Wondering if Stephen Hawkins is actually the inside of a Dalek."

PaperCrystals "I just went on the roof at work for the first time. There appears to be a Dalek up there."

ajstratford
"I met Steven Moffat! And showed him my 'The Angels Have the Phonebox' t-shirt, either the kewlest or nerdiest thing of my life"

The Bad Wolf TV
has First Picture of the ***** (ed: SJA).

Scotch Corner September Competition - Doctor Who Original Art!

Scotch Corner
September has arrived and its time for a new competition! It couldn't be easier to enter, all you need to do is leave a comment about the prize and you'll be entered into the running. Any kind of comment counts but you have to make sure you think about it as you can only enter once, so make it funny, make it complimentary, make it a song, make it weird, make it anything you want but make your comment count.

This time we have some original ink art from the world of Doctor Who by Graeme Neil Reid.

This was done for fun back in 2002 and anybody who knows me knows I'm a big fan of Doctor Who. The idea was to take one of the original (as there was many versions) movie posters for the film Star Wars and do a parody poster for the Who story 'Remembrance of the Daleks' from 1988. The story has Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred as the Doctor and companion Ace battling those pesky pepperpots and just like the Eccleston story 'Dalek' from a few years ago this also had the great British public agog when the Daleks finally conquered the ability to go up and down stairs, yikes!

The prize is threefold this time. You'll own the original inked illustration which is on CS10 heavy art board and measures 45cm high by 39cm wide (if you click on the image to see it bigger you'll be able to spot where I cheated on the skirting of the Daleks by drawing it in Adobe Illustrator and printing it out to be stuck on the board, far too hard inking circles freehand you know!) and you'll receive an A3 print of the finished movie poster and (because I have two copies for some reason) you'll also get a copy of the 'Remembrance of the Daleks' DVD. (The DVD is for regions 2 & 4.)

Read the full article and enter the competition here.

Sarah Jane in October plus a Pick of the Blogs...

Well my Second Life 'Paradox Island' is under way with new places to go, please feel free to drop in for a chat about our favourite show and even a tour in the TARDIS at the 'Pirate Inn', if you're new to Second Life, feel free to ask for any help if you need it, I don't bite (well rarely, the false teeth wobble too much).

TARDIS Message Boards has news of a Scifi Collector Event with Tom Baker.

Doctor Who Reference Guide has the synopsis for a the Sarah Jane audio adventure The Glittering Storm.

Park Entertainment has K9 - First look at MIPCOM, the long-awaited television series K9, featuring everyone’s favourite robot dog, is in post-production, episodes are now being delivered and will be shown to TV buyers at MIPCOM in October.

The Doctor Who News Page has Sarah Jane in October, the BBC has confirmed that Series Three of The Sarah Jane Adventures will premiere in the UK during October. The exact start date is unknown but sources indicate that Thursday 15th is the most likely day.

SARAH-JANE.tv has...
  • No Sarah Jane this September, it's now official: the third series of The Sarah Jane Adventures will break from tradition, by not airing in the latter half of September. We've come to expect the series launch on the last Monday of September for the past two years, but for 2009 - possibly to tie in with Doctor Who's Water of Mars in November - it seems that an October launch is now set in stone.
  • 'Yes, we know who you are...', paraphrased a teeny bit, but SJA's enigmatic Brand Manager, Edward Russell, said as much when I introduced myself to him at the See Me on CBBC event in Manchester over the weekend.

Radio Free Skaro - The Chronic Hysteresis has....
  • HHH5 - Colony in Space 5, this episode resolves one of the weaker cliffhangers in history, while setting up an equally tepid one at episode's end. At the end of Episode Four, The Master displayed a sudden thirst for gunplay, pulling a gun on The Doctor and threatening to kill him in cold blood purely so that the episode could end with some sort of (contrived) drama.
  • HHH6 - Colony in Space 6, what started as a reasonable little action romp involving a conflict between bushy faced colonists and impossibly coiffured mining corporation employees sort of takes a bizarre turn into cheap pantomime once the story moves inside the ancient primitive city.
Billie Doux has Torchwood: Captain Jack Harkness, Jack goes back into the past, and falls in love with himself. A new and interesting take on narcissism.

The Daily Drew has "The Enemy of the World" - Episode 5, Bruce is surprisingly receptive to the allegations against Salamander, but believes that the Doctor plans to assassinate the leader.

The Steampunk Console Project has A Steampunk Computer Keyboard for the Steampunk Console?, "there's no reason why all the panels on this build should be built in exactly the same fashion."

Geek Craft has believe it or not a Dalek baby quilt.

Doctor Who Reviews has The Krotons, the return of the four-parter couldn't have come at a better time, with the debut of future script editor Robert Holmes.
