BBC America's Timeline, Celebrating 40 years of Gallifrey and a Mark Gatiss Interview

BBC America
has Timeline, the Doctor has been traveling through history and battling the evil forces of the universe for almost half a century. Take a look at some of the highlights of the show and the eleven actors who have helmed the TARDIS...

TARDIS Television
is now showing 016: The Chase, the Daleks are closing in on the Doctor in a chase through both the universe and through time itself. For having created their own time machine, the Daleks are able to pursue the TARDIS from the planet of Aridius, on to the Empire State Building in 1966, on to the Marie Celeste in 1872 and even on into a haunted house within someone's nightmare.

BBC Doctor Who is Celebrating 40 years of Gallifrey, Forty years ago this month we first heard the Doctor talk about the Time Lords. Until that point there had been barely a handful of tantalising references to his home planet and his own people. Who they were, the nature of their society and even the name they were known by had remained undisclosed, the site also has a Mark Gatiss Interview, the recent Radio 4 documentary, 'On The Outside It Looked Like An Old Fashioned Police Box' looked at the Target novelizations of the 1970s, 80s and 90s. Quirky and compelling, the programme was clearly a labour of love for writer/presenter Mark Gatiss and producer Simon Hollis.

Radio Free Skaro - The Chronic Hysteresis has...
  • JJ1 - The Macra Terror 1, "I mentioned when reviewing The Savages about how writer Ian Stuart Black was a contemporary of Patrick McGoohan, creator of The Prisoner, and how there were slight similarities between the two series."
  • JJ2 - The Macra Terror 2, after a great first episode setting up the charade that is The Colony, we finally get to see the titular Macra in Episode Two.
in the Darkling Grove, listening with the trees has Darkling Stalks a Dalek, "Later, reclining on the couch off to the side of the hall, she praises Miss Malaprop's skill at creating a Dalek-opener, and at her own skill in its' use. A shame no one was there to agree with her."

The Forbidden Planet Blog has Exdrawminate, Exdrawminate …., "to get as many comic and other folk as possible to draw Dalek pictures."
