It was the moment all Dr Who fans had been waiting for – when the identity of the new time lord would be revealed. But the sneak preview of the Dr Who Christmas special, shown on BBC 1's Children in Need show on Friday night, teased viewers with a puzzling scenario of two Time Lords, increasing speculation about who will succeed David Tennant in the role.
In the two-minute clip taken from the eagerly awaited special episode, The Next Doctor, to be shown on Christmas Day, Tennant's Dr Who came face to face with another man calling himself the Time Lord, who appeared to have all of Dr Who's accessories including a tardis, a female assistant and a sonic screw driver.

In the exchange between the two men, Tennant asks: "Who are you?" to which Morrissey's character replies: "I'm the doctor. Simply the doctor. The one, the only and the best. Stand back, this is a job for a Time Lord."Looking confused, the woman, whom Morrissey's character refers to as "Rosita", says: "Well there can't be two of you." .......read more here

Having seen the clip I think it's all a scam. Who is to say that The Doctor is really on Earth. The companion is called "Rosita" which in Spanish is a variation of Rose. Also she is black which links her to Martha. The other Doctor dress reminds me of Colin Baker's Doctor. And the whole "I am the Doctor, the one and only" speech is too theatrical. The whole thing reminds me of the Big Finish Audio Adventure "The One Doctor"
